PrivatePrint offers a wide range of activities and services that can become a common ground for collaborations with professionals and institutions that meet the knowledge needs in project development, editing, curating, or book design.

Publishing as a Collaborative Practice is a workshop designed to explore communities and different socially relevant topics through publishing as a shared creation process. The workshop brings together people with different backgrounds to exchange ideas and create meaningful content. Participants work together to develop book content reflecting critical local issues, from sharing and choosing relevant topics to suggesting materials that define a book as a final product.

The workshop uncovers key community concerns by collaborating with local researchers, activists, artists, and cultural workers. The goal is to give voice to people and stories that might otherwise be overlooked and to share those perspectives with a broader audience.

The workshop was first introduced through a lecture at Brno University in 2022 and held for the first time at the National Gallery of Kosovo in Prishtina in 2024.

The associates form a specific network of individuals and collectives around PrivatePrint Studio that have access to the Studio’s infrastructure, facilities, and resources and work with our team to realize their project ideas under our institutional framework. 

We welcome local and international cultural workers, researchers, activists, and artists to conceive, develop, write, and carry out their projects; collaborate and network with other associates or our team to advance their ideas; and benefit from our infrastructure and network of collaborators. 

Our goal is to build a strong community where people connect, collaborate, and turn their ideas into reality.

With extensive experience in curation and editing, our team is eager to collaborate with institutions, organizations, and independent initiatives on exhibition curation and book editing. We are passionate about working with diverse communities, individual artists, and cultural practitioners to bring creative projects into the form of an exhibition or a book.

We focus on exploring democratic, inclusive, and interdisciplinary approaches to cultural practices but remain open to a wide range of themes and ideas. We value meaningful collaboration and are committed to enabling dialogue and shaping narratives that inspire and engage diverse audiences.

Our studio space is open and fully equipped to host a variety of events, including workshops, lectures, presentations, talks, and debates. The space consists of a 50 m² indoor area and a 90 m² terrace, offering a flexible environment that can adapt to different needs and experiences.
